PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In this part of the assembly line, backpressure from the rest of the cans must be relieved to allow them to be picked up and placed into a tray. To do this, each lane has a paddle which only gets pressed once the lane is completely filled. Then, once all the lanes are pressed back, a light is able to shine through to a sensor. Once activated, a piston presses down on the incoming cans, then another relieves any remaining pressure between the stopped cans and the rest of the lane.
